This recession is (continuing because of Obamas policies) due to the democrats wanting to give affordable (ever heard that word before) housing to people who couldn't afford it. Mortgage, insurance, utilities, upkeep then OH ****, now what, a housing bubble that burst.

North Korea restarted their nuke program, Iran stepped-up their nuke program, and Putin moved on Georgia. All after the neocon chicken hawks proved they didn't have the stomach to go into the Tora Bora rats' nest and clean out Al Qaida, and the Taliban, when we had them cornered. By refusing to slug it out yard by yard, Bush proved the USA unwilling to make the sacrifices needed to achieve battlefield victory. That is the weekness this article correctly places the blame on the GOP for.

In my opinion think America has been "weak" for a long time, although not just from our GOP. I do think America is very much so a "weak" nation because our nation's people are divided on almost every important issue -increasingly more so than other countries- (gay rights, education, firearm restrictions, wages, need I go on?), we are one of the least healthiest developed nations in the world (Though thankfully we (the nation as a general whole.) are finally changing that.), we go into wars for people who don't want our troops on THEIR LAND, have no real reason to go to war, or blow things out of proportion ( *Cough* 9/11), our economy is failing, we're are in exponentially increasing debt (the US debt increases on an average of 2.4 BILLION dollars per DAY), our prison population (since 1997) has been drastically increasing yet the crime rate has been rapidly decreasing, these are a small few of the many reasons I think America is speeding towards self-corruption and that the situation may already be irreversible.

And why are democrats up for reelection running from Obama? Differences in political views are good for a party because you gain strength in knowing which views are essential to address. You only have extreme liberal views but whether you believe it or not even democrats have conflicting views.

The outrage of the day is that we taxpayers subsidize people like Sterling, the NFL, PGA, etc through our tax code. Many professional sports organizations are tax exempt non-profit. Most citizens do not even know that because of lousy media coverage of the finances of big time sports. Most stadiums have been built with the use of taxpayer funds to increase the wealth of billionaire team owners and millionaire athletes and coaches at the college and professional levels. It seems to me more news organizations and programs like Crossfire should and could do a better job of educating the public on the corruption of public office and subsidies to sports at the price of more critical infrastructure needs. They can start by referencing the day to day stories on the corruption of public money with sports at fieldofschemes.com.

Due to a housing bubble created by democrats to give affordable housing to people who couldn't afford it; which bursted 3 months before Obama took office. Ask yourself why are we still in a recession after five plus (5)+ years. Can you say FAILED POLICIES!

The last two years the GOP has only wanted to deal with two things, Benghazi, and Obamacare.
Three, keystone pipeline.
Those are three good points to concentrate on. The American people were lied to by the President after the Benghazi attack in order to help is re-election campaign. We were lied to by the President again about Obamacare; not only can we not keep our plans or doctors, we are forced to purchase plans we do not want or cannot afford or pay penalties. The Keystone Pipeline would certainly help with job growth and increase our energy independence. The Dems, on the other hand, want to concentrate on divide and conquer.
