Jesse Ventura for president in 2016?

(CNN) – He rode a wave of voter anger to a surprise win in a Minnesota governor's race more than a decade ago. Now Jesse Ventura says he could try it again, this time for president.

On CNN's "Crossfire" Friday night, the always-outspoken Ventura declared himself "a member of no parties" as he called for the abolishment of political parties. Asked if he would run for president in 2016, Ventura quickly said, "Maybe."

He has my vote – though I doubt he'll live through his term. "They'll get him eventually". He'll release all of the Kennedy files. He'll release all of the UFO files. He'll stop invading other countries. He'll take all of the freefies – welfare, healthcare, housing, food stamps and transportation – off the books and give it to the churches. That way all of those liberals that believe in social engineering can donate their own money to these causes, instead of draining the general publics. Good luck governor

I'm hoping that the Castro brothers of Texas run. Then this would never happen again. First of all as Latinos they don't shut anything down while there is work to do. Secondly as identical twins one could always step in to negotiate if the other was unavailable.
This is a joke but no more so than Jesse Ventura running our country.

Hell No!!!! What a joke! Selfish, egotistical, self before country before citizens and voters.... hmmm, now thinking about his qualifications, he'd fit in with his colleagues as tight as the glove that fits just right. Sure, why not run for political/presidential office? He'd be the perfect candidate in that he'd sell out his country for his own financial gain.

Jesse Ventura is a thin skinned, attention seeking phony who only knows how to trash talk, but not get involved himself to do the heavy lifting! I voted for the guy back in 1998 for Minnesota governor and it's the only vote I wish I could take back. He used the office as a platform for polishing up his resume and lining up high profile gigs that were not related to what the voters put him into office for, but instead to keep his name out in the public eye. The local media started holding his feet to the fire for all of the crazy statements he made, the fights he would get into with other legislators, the closing up of the governor's residence and firing the staff, the shutting out of local media for interviews as he felt he was being picked on, etc.... and as a result of this, he chose not to run for re-election in 2002, because he knew that the voters had finally realized the huge mistake they made 4 years earlier and Jesse would never win re-election. This guy simply needs to go away from the spotlight and take his off the wall conspiracy views about the government with him!

I will vote for you sir, as you are truly what this country needs in this most important time in our nations history. I would also highly recommend that you would choose Senator John McCain as your running mate. You would absolutely, make a fantastic pair, and do it soon, for like you have said, "We ain't got time to bleed!" anymore anyway. Thank you sir, you have my full support. Copy that!

Once again Jesse cuts to the essence. Why is the Republican party being run by a minority segment, who have shut down the Federal Government in protest of a program that has been voted in and ratified by the majority of American citizens?
When are the rank and file Republicans going to develop backbone to lead? How long before American Citizens say, ENOUGH......and begin nation-wide protests in the streets against those that caused so much harm to so many through this foolish tactic!

Jess is there only for Jesse! He is right up there with Al Sharpton, Bill O'Reilly, Jesse Jackson and Glen Beck who will say anything as long as there is a camera on them. He touted his service as a SEAL in his election run in Minnesota, then blew off any veterans organization that requested him for any events or speeches. He has milked every conspiracy theory just to line his own pockets. Turn the camera off and he will always find a way to promote Jesse!

The GOP lied about Obamacare. If it's allowed to happen, the GOP gets found out. Death panels? Government take-over & socialized medicine? They lied and even the dumbest of their constituents will find out the truth if it's allowed to happen. That's why they're doing it. Republicanism is just Cupp's "team" that she's loyal to through thick and thin. The ideas and causes are as interchangeable the sports players in the latest season's roster.
