As we count down to the return of Crossfire on CNN, we’re posting clips of the best moments from the program’s 23-year history. Stephanie Cutter shows us one of the biggest surprises. It happened when host Tucker Carlson promised to eat his shoes if Hillary Clinton sold a million copies of her autobiography.
Crossfire returns to CNN Monday at 6:30pm ET.

Too funny! I am a republican and that was too funny. They say "watch what you wish for"or In Tucker's case "say", and I was not a fan of Mrs. Clinton but good for her for making Tucker "eat his words". Now maybe he will think before he speaks and declares something or he will have to get that ginormous foot(shoe) out of his mouth.......or get it out of ANOTHER body part. LOL
He was supposed to eat his OWN shoe. Just because the haters hate her, they thought the world was also inclined. What about Bill O'Reilly? Didn't he promise something if NO WMDs were found in Iraq???
