Gingrich: Hillary Clinton to pursue 'left-wing ideas'
Boston (CNN) - Newt Gingrich is back to tangling with the Clintons.
In an interview with CNN, the former House speaker and presidential candidate accused Hillary Clinton of planning to pursue "left-wing ideas" in a series of upcoming speeches that may be setting the stage for her own White House run in 2016.

Gingrich: Republicans have 'zero' health care ideas
Boston (CNN) – Former House Speaker and presidential candidate Newt Gingrich reprimanded his fellow Republicans in unusually harsh terms Wednesday, blaming GOP members of Congress for developing "zero" alternatives to President Obama's health care reform law.
Gingrich, who was speaking at the opening session of the Republican National Committee's summer meeting, fielded a question about "Obamacare" and recalled that Republicans were able to block Bill Clinton's health care reform effort in 1994 because they had "a positive alternative approach" to health care.

Former Obama aide slams president’s comments on NSA
(CNN) - A former special advisor to President Barack Obama and co-host of CNN's "Crossfire" Van Jones criticized the president's recent statements about the National Security Agency's domestic surveillance programs.
"We don't have a domestic spying program," Obama said on "The Tonight Show" Tuesday. "What we do have are some mechanisms where we can track a phone number or an email address that we know is connected to some sort of terrorist threat."

Crossfire debuts Monday, Sept. 16 at 6:30pm ET
CNN announced that Crossfire, hosted by Newt Gingrich, Stephanie Cutter, S.E. Cupp and Van Jones, will debut Monday, Sept 16 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The classic debate program will resemble the show's original format with passionate conversation and focus on topical events of the day. The daily, 30-minute program will feature two hosts and guests each night, discussing a range of issues from all sides of the political and cultural spectrum. In addition to the weekday show, the Crossfire co-hosts will appear across the network's programming.
