Here we go: Warren vs. Clinton

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren says she's not seeking the White House.

"I'm not running for president and I plan to serve out my term," Warren, who's up for reelection in 2018, said in December.

But she sure is acting like a potential 2016 contender. She's traveling around the country, introducing herself to voters, testing her message - the sort of thing that candidates do...

At 6:30pm ET, S.E. Cupp and Van Jones host a debate with former Governors Tim Pawlenty and Bill Richardson.

"Documented" star detained

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and undocumented immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas suspected he wouldn't get out.

His fear came to fruition Tuesday morning when he was detained at a Texas airport while trying to pass through security en route to Los Angeles, said Ryan Eller, campaign director for Define American, a group Vargas founded in 2011.

At 6:30pm ET, Newt Gingrich and Van Jones host a debate with Reps. Michele Bachmann and Charlie Rangel about the immigration crisis in the United States.

'Racial animus' towards Holder and Obama?

'Racial animus' towards Holder and Obama?

First, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky is firing back at Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, in an escalation of a war of words between two potential 2016 Republican presidential contenders over U.S. foreign policy and the country's role in the bloody outbreak of fighting in Iraq. What do you make of this infighting?

Then, Attorney General Eric Holder says he sees "racial animus" in strident Republican opposition to some Obama administration policies. Some media conservatives say he's playing racial politics.

At 6:30pm ET, Newt Gingrich and guest host Paul Begala host a debate with Tim Phillips and Neera Tanden.

Texas Governor vs. President Obama on immigration

Texas Governor vs. President Obama on immigration

Texas Gov. Rick Perry and others are lashing out at President Barack Obama's decision not to tour border facilities overwhelmed by a flood of undocumented children, saying the U.S. leader needs to see with his own eyes what both sides agree is a humanitarian crisis.

"The American people expect to see their President when there is a disaster," Perry told CNN's Kate Bolduan in an interview that aired Thursday, citing Obama's trip to the East Coast to tour damage caused by Superstorm Sandy in 2012. "He showed up at Sandy. Why not Texas?"

At 6:30pm ET, S.E. Cupp and guest host Paul Begala host a debate with Reps. Karen Bass (D-CA) and Bill Flores (R-TX).

Obama to meet with Perry on immigration crisis

He will be in Texas tonight, but President Barack Obama has no plans to visit the border area where tens of thousands of young immigrants have illegally entered the country in recent months to create what his administration labels an urgent humanitarian problem.

The trip to the Lone Star State - the epicenter of the immigration influx - includes Democratic Party fundraising events, and after some political squabbling, a meeting with Republican Gov. Rick Perry.

That's not enough for GOP critics or even some of Obama's fellow Democrats.

At 6:30pm ET, S.E. Cupp and Van Jones host a debate with Reps. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) and Jim Bridenstine (R-OK)

In the Crossfire: Immigration and medical marijuana

President Barack Obama cares, the White House insisted Tuesday in asking Congress for $3.7 billion in emergency funds to better respond to the flood of immigrants illegally crossing the border into Texas.

No he doesn't, say Republicans who note Obama doesn't plan to visit the border area when he travels to Texas - the epicenter of the immigrant influx - on Wednesday for a trip that includes a meeting with Gov. Rick Perry. Full story

Also in the political sphere: weed. New York became the latest state to permit the use of medical marijuana on Monday.

Should there be a third major political party?

Should there be a third major political party?

Lots of political news to discuss in the Crossfire tonight.

The Supreme Court sided with Congress on Thursday in the high-stakes power struggle over presidential recess appointments, in which officials are placed in top government jobs temporarily without Senate approval.

The closely watched constitutional and political confrontation over the practice has accelerated because of partisan gridlock in Congress. Full story

Meanwhile, Speaker of the House John Boehner is planning to sue the President over executive orders. Has Obama exceeded his presidential authority?

Also, Sarah Palin continues to mention her idea of having a third party in politics.

At 6:30pm ET, S.E. Cupp, Van Jones, Newt Gingrich and Stephanie Cutter host a debate on a special episode of Crossfire.
