Crossfire Classic: Frank Zappa on dirty lyrics

As we count down to Monday's launch of Crossfire, we're taking a look back at some memorable moments in Crossfire history. As you’ll see in today’s Crossfire Classic clip, we’ve had our share of debates that aren’t strictly “political.” Van Jones presents a moment from 1986 where musician Frank Zappa engages in a fiery debate about dirty song lyrics.

Crossfire returns to CNN Monday at 6:30pm ET.

Plain & simple Lofton was being a 1st Class A$$! Those are the idiots who make us republicans want to become independents! The way he was speaking, acting, and spewing accusations was embarrassing! We DON'T all feel like that idiot. He just made himself look stupid.

"I love it when you froth like that". I'd really love to see the rest of that interview. The world is much less interesting without Mr. Zappa.
