Since the 1982 launch of CNN's Crossfire, there have been plenty of unforgettable moments, including some memorable faces. Thirty-one years later, we recount nine of our favorite Crossfire moments, from passionate debates to settled bets.
Crossfire returns to CNN on Monday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
1. Frank Zappa on dirty song lyrics (1986)
2. Then-Congressman-elect Paul Ryan (1998)
3. James Carville hides in a trash can (2002)
4. Rush Limbaugh on burning the flag (1990)
5. Intense moment with anti-government group MOVE (1985)
6. Ku Klax Klan Grand Wizard makes an appearance (1982)
7. Tucker Carlson eats Hillary Clinton's "shoe" (2003)
8. Ambassador to the UN Jeane Kirkpatrick on the Middle East (1988)
9. Communist candidate discusses bid for VP (1984)
Cheap or affordable diabetic supplies (Diabetes Testing
Supplies) are usually considered as a boon when it comes to
taking care of blood glucose levels in diabetic patients.
Additionally, the second stage is also part of the weight loss process, only it is slower and more consistent.
Most mothers lose half the weight they gain quickly after giving birth.
My favorite featured Jon Stewart. If you recall, and you can find it on youtube, after his guest stint, Crossfire went off the air. It should have stayed there.
I can't believe you would leave out what I thought was easily the funniest moment ever on Crossfire when Bob Novak walked out and said "That's bullshit...Good night everybody". It was kind of the beginning of the end for Novak and Crossfire. I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Nothing compares in my book.
Do Not Want
So no Jon Stewart clip? This must feel very authentic at the CNN offices.
BY ONLY FEATURING 9 MOMENTS THE STAFF AT CNN ARE TROLLING READERS AND VIEWERS. EVERYONE KNOWS THE #1 FAVORITE MOMENT CLOSED THE FIRST VERSION OF THIS CLOWN SHOW.
The omission of Jon Stewart's appearance is incredibly cowardly. I loved the show, and you know what? That was my favorite moment. It was like the end of Don Quixote.
With this omission of the Jon Stewart episode, Crossfire has insulted our intelligence before a single airing of the reboot.
My sentiments exactly. Why in the world would the best installment of the series be excluded?
Jon Stewart did it once, he can do it again. I think he should be your first guest.
My favorite moment was when Jon Stewart was on the show.
Newt in the Paul Ryan bit sums up what is wrong with politics when he refers to new politicians as "stars of the future". Why are politicians "stars" we need to get back to the day when they were thought as elected public servants.
This is pathetic, CNN. Just ignore the fact that Jon Stewart exposed the show for the trash that it is and did the world a favor by leading to its cancellation.
' cowardly not to show Jon Stewart. I don't want this right wing reboot and will never watch it.
